Promoting your business products/services to specific
markets
Aurora has effectively provided a range of corporate marketing services
to clients for many years. Services have ranged from targeted small
and largescale event and awards management through to marketing
strategy and advice, and private dinners. Below are just examples
of Aurora's marketing work for corporate clients.

BT Project brief:
BT chose Aurora for a two year project assisting them to:
1.) educate women business-owners about their business products
and services range for small business
2.) gain and build trust from female customers for their offerings
and the BT brand
3.) develop closer contact with female customers
Aurora solution delivered:
Aurora ran a series of 20 women-owned business events over a period
of two years that involved webcasts, online discussion forums,
media visibility and research. The events were supported by an
online campaign. Quantitative and qualitative reports indicated
that the project was highly successful for BT and their objectives
were well met.

DTI project brief:
The DTI's Small Business Service (SBS) chose Aurora to
help them:
1.) inspire more women to start businesses
2.) build visibility and credibilty for the business support services
provided by Government
3.) develop and roll out a central interactive online resource portal
for all UK Government women's enterprise activity and resources. Aurora solution delivered:
Aurora scoped, build and rolled out a bespoke interactive online
women's enterprise portal (see www.womensenterprise.co.uk)
that provided a two day online expo for over 5,000 users involving
webcasts, live discussion forums, interactive upload facillities,
secure user logins and complex user functionality. The two day online
event was highly successful for the DTI and user feedback was outstanding.

HSBC project brief:
HSBC has chosen Aurora for six years, to deliver a range
of offline and online marketing services targeting women starting
and growing businesses in the UK for 'new' and 'switch ' business
banking markets. HSBC seeks to:
1.) position itself as the 'Bank of Choice for Women'
2.) educate women business owners about and build trust in HSBC
financial products and services
3.) develop a trusted community of support for financial services
interests.
Aurora solution delivered:
For six years Aurora has delivered over 65 city and regional events
for HSBC across the UK ranging from largescale events with over
400 delegates through to small private targeted business dinners
of 20 guests. Through offline and online targeted marketing campaigns,
Aurora has worked with HSBC to educate women about financial issues
and prodcuts impacting their businesses. Aurora also provides
regular market intelligence to the Bank and advises them of key
trends and opportunities.

BlackBerry (Research In Motion) project brief:
For three years, RIM has chosen Aurora to effectively
raise business and professional womens' awareness of the range
of BlackBerry business products and services, and the benefits
of use. BlackBerry sought to:
1.) increase visbility of its devices to new niche markets and
educate about the benefits of use
2.) build trust and recognition for its products by corporate
and entrepreneurial women
3.) convey messages through a relevant marketing channel partner
respected and known by end users.
Aurora solution delivered:
Aurora has identified and developed a number of targeted case
studies for RIM throughout Europe and the UK for marketing purposes.
Targeting corporate and entrepreneurial women, Aurora has delivered
a variety of online and offline marketing campaigns as well as
managing the 2005 and 2006 Women & Technology Awards
that required Aurora to scope, develop and roll out a fully functional
interactive website marketing the Awards and managing the full
Awards application process (see www.womentechawards.com).
Aurora was also required to identify, secure and chair the 2005
and 2006 Judging Panel that saw administration of around 150 indepth
award applications per annum.
